National Guard Helping Broomall Nursing Home's Coronavirus Cases
Eighteen members of the Pennsylvania National Guard Medical Team are assisting Broomall Rehabilitation Nursing Center during the pandemic.
BROOMALL, PA — Member of the National Guard have come to Delaware County to assist with coronavirus cases in a nursing home.
According to NBC10, the National Guard has arrived at Broomall Rehabilitation Nursing Center.
The center has 49 cases of the virus as of Sunday, according to NBC10.

Assisting the facility are 18 military nurses and medics from the Pennsylvania National Guard Medical Team.
According to the Pennsylvania Department of Health, there are 409 cases of the virus in nursing home residents in the county.

In Delaware County's 37 nursing home facilities, there have been 60 deaths tied to the virus.
Forty-four workers at the 37 facilities have the virus, state data shows.
As of Sunday afternoon, Delaware County has 2,460 cases and 91 deaths related to the virus.
