There are providers specializing in various mental health challenges from mood/anxiety disorders to childhood emotional and behavioral issues--however some clients just want a safe, nonjudgmental space to express their experiences.
Psych Choices represents diversity symbolized in its new logo; and supports an initiative to end the stigma often associated with mental illness so that one feels just as comfortable attending a mental health appointment as they do a medical visit.
"We at Psych Choices look to end the stigma around mental health, so that mental health related appointments are seen as no different than medical visits," Damani P. Irby, MS NCC CCHMC LPC, Owner/ Licensed Psychotherapist said. "Mental health is just as important as physical health, and we thrive on creating a nonjudgmental experience for all our patients."
