Get Free Water Ice For a Year At New Delco Rita's Store Friday

EDGMONT, PA — A new Rita's location is coming to Delaware County, and it is celebrating by offering free ice for a year.

Rita's newest location is set to open Friday at 4815 West Chester Pike in Edgmont.

At 3 p.m. Friday, the new location will reward the first 50 guests in line with Free Rita’s Italian Ice for a Year.

The deal is limited to one per household in line, and verification information may be required.

Coupons only valid at the new location at 4815 West Chester Pike in Edgmont.

Additionally, from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m., the store will be offering guests $2 Small Italian Ice and $3 Small Gelati.

Guests are also invited to enjoy free giveaways from the Rita’s prize wheel, photo opportunities with Rita’s mascot Ice Guy, swag giveaways, and more.

To commemorate Edgmont’s first Rita’s Italian Ice & Frozen Custard location, local franchisee Bob and Heidi Ruprecht will host the shop’s official ribbon-cutting ceremony at 4 p.m. alongside the Autism Wings and Support Homeless Veterans organizations.
