Newtown Hosting First Walk to the Meadows Trail Walk Nov 13
The 4-mile walk will begin at the 174 Tavern and take the Liseter Trail to the township's 50-acre Meadow Preserve.
NEWTOWN TOWNSHIP, PA — Newtown Township's newly formed Trails & Greenway Committee is inviting residents to its first public trail walk next month.
The township’s strategic plan recommendations will ultimately allow residents all to walk from Willistown on the western edge, to Radnor on the eastern border.
Residents can join the walk at 1 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 13.

Participants will be able to park for Walk to the Meadows at Newtown Square Presbyterian Church, located at the corner of 252 and Goshen Road, then gather at the 1742 Tavern.
From the tavern, residents and committee members will take the Liseter Trail to the township’s 50-acre Meadow Preserve.

Participants can go as far as they like; the entire walk will be just less than 4 miles.
After the walk, the tavern will have with refreshments and an art show.
