Newtown, Marple Blood Drives Planned For Coming Weeks
The American Red Cross said holidays, busy summer schedules, vacations and school breaks cause fewer donations. But you can help avoid that.

MARPLE-NEWTOWN, PA – With summer nearly here, many people are busy with vacations, holidays, summer break and more. That can lead to fewer than normal blood donations, but you can still give blood in Newtown and Marple townships in the coming weeks to help the American Red Cross stay stocked on blood supplies.
Several drives are planned in the area. Below are dates, times and locations:
- 6/8/2018: 9 a.m. - 2 p.m., White Horse Village, 535 Gradyville Road, Newtown Square
- 6/11/2018: 2 p.m. - 7 p.m., Marple Public Library, 2599 Sproul Road, Broomall
Donors can make an appointments to give blood by downloading the free Red Cross Blood Donor App, visiting RedCrossBlood.org or calling 1-800-RED CROSS (1-800-733-2767).
