Newtown Square Among 'Best Places For Pizza Lovers' Nationwide

NEWTOWN SQUARE, PA – Newtown Square is among the 500 best towns across the nation for pizza lovers, according to a new study. The rankings were curated by LendEDU, an online marketplace for student loans and loan refinancing.
LendEDU's rankings are essentially based on "pizza-per-capita." They analyzed towns with a population of at least 10,000 that also contained at least five pizza shops. The total number of pizzerias was then divided by that town's population to create a "pizza indicator."
By those metrics, Ocean City, New Jersey, has the densest pizzeria to person ratio in the nation, with an indicator of 117.21.

Newtown Sqaure, meanwhile, came in 210th overall, with an indicator of 52.89.
Fairless Hills led the way for Pennsylvania in 13th overall.
