Bird Watch Hike Set For Oct 2 In Newtown Square
Catch the fall bird migration at Garrett Williamson with birders Phil Witmer and Mike McGraw on Oct. 2.
NEWTOWN SQUARE, PA — The fall bird migration is underway, and you can get a good look at warblers, vireos, thrushes, and more at the Fall Migration Bird-Watching Hike in Newtown Square.
This year's hike will take place at 8 a.m. on Saturday, Oct. 2 at Garrett Williamson.
Birders Phil Witmer and Mike McGraw will lead the hike through the 240-acre property during the peak of fall bird migration.

There will also be a hands-on demonstration of the revolutionary new bird identification tool added to the Merlin App developed by the Cornell School of Ornithology, which lets you immediately identify birds by their song alone.
