Newtown Square Fitness Center Hosting Kids Food Drive

Ellis Athletic Center in Newtown Square is collecting non-perishable foods Wednesday for donation to St. Mark's Food Pantry in Broomall.

NEWTOWN SQUARE, PA — A fitness center in Newtown Square is joining the effort to support residents in need during the coronavirus pandemic.

On Wednesday, Ellis Athletic Center in Newtown Square is hosting a kid-friendly food drive.

Those wishing to contribute can do so by driving through the front lot of the center from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. Wednesday.

Donations will be made with safe social distancing in mind by using marked bins for drop offs.

Non-perishable items sought include macaroni and cheese, SpaghettiO's with meatballs, cereal, and canned proteins.

All donated items will be given to St. Mark’s Food Pantry in Broomall.

Ellis staff members will be there to guide you.

Ellis Athletic Center is located at 3819 West Chester Pike in Newtown Square.
