Newtown Street Road Closing Weekdays For 2 Weeks: PennDOT
PECO utility work will force weekday closures for two weeks on the road. Drivers will be detoured during the closure.
NEWTOWN TOWNSHIP, PA — Newtown Street Road will be closed due to PECO utility work next week, according to PennDOT.
PennDOT said crews will be working between St. Davids Road and Sugartown Road in Easttown and Newtown townships.
The road will be closed weekdays from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Work will begin Monday and last through Monday, April 17.

Drivers will be detoured to Route 252 (Darby Paoli Road), Leopard Road, and Sugartown Road.
Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling through or near the work areas because backups and delays will occur.
