Newtown Street Road Lanes Closing Overnight This Week

NEWTOWN TOWNSHIP, PA — Newtown Street Road in Newtown Township will have lanes closed this week due to milling and paving work, PennDOT said.

According to PennDOT, crews will be working along a portion of Newtown Street Road Monday through Friday overnight as part of several projects to repair and resurface more than 200 miles of state highway in Bucks, Chester, Delaware, Montgomery and Philadelphia counties

Newtown Street Road will have lane closures in place from 7 p.m. to 5 a.m. between Gradyville and White Horse roads.

Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling through the work area because slowdowns will occur.

All scheduled activities are weather dependent.
