Overnight, Daytime Lane Closures Coming To West Chester Pike

NEWTOWN TOWNSHIP, PA — West Chester Pike in Newtown Township will have daytime and nighttime lane closures for road construction work through late March, PennDOT said.

The closures will begin Sunday, Feb. 25 and last through Friday, March 29.

Closures will be in place from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. and from 7 p.m. to 6 a.m. on weekdays and Sunday nights.

The affected area is between Boot Road and Ellis Avenue.

Closures will be in place in both directions of West Chester Pike.

Drivers are advised to allow extra time when traveling through the work area because backups and delays will occur.

All scheduled activities are weather dependent.
