Overnight Restrictions On Newtown Street Rd Next Week In Newtown

NEWTOWN TOWNSHIP, PA — A portion of Newtown Street Road in Newtown Township will be restricted overnight next week due to milling and paving work, PennDOT said.

According to PennDOT, lane restrictions will be in place from 6 p.m. to 6 a.m. the following morning on Newtown Street Road Monday, April 22 through Friday, April 26.

The affected area of Newtown Street Road is between St. David's and Andover roads, PennDOT said.

Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling through the work areas because slowdowns will occur.

The contractor's schedule is dependent on the weather.
