Palmer’s Mill Road Limited To 1 Lane Through End Of October

Crews will be replacing the bridge that carries the road over Springton Reservoir in Marple and Upper Providence townships.

MARPLE TOWNSHIP, PA — A portion of Palmer’s Mill Road/Route 252 in Marple Township will be limited to a single lane next week with work lasting through October, PennDOT said.

According to PennDOT, the road will be limited to one lane with flagging starting March 16.

On weekdays through the end of October, crews will be working to replace the bridge that carries Palmer's Mill Road over the Springton Reservoir in Marple and Upper Providence townships from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., weather dependent.

The affected area is between Lakeview Drive and Newtown Street Road.

Drivers are advised to allow extra time when traveling through the work area because backups and delays will occur.
