Pedestrian Killed On Interstate 476 In Delco Tuesday
Pennsylvania State Police said a 37-year-old man got out of his vehicle, walked onto the highway, then was fatally struck by a vehicle.
MARPLE TOWNSHIP, PA — A man died after being struck by a vehicle on Interstate 476 in Delaware County Tuesday, according to Pennsylvania State Police.
The crash occurred at about 1:50 p.m. Tuesday near mile marker 7.3 in Marple Township.
Police said a 37-year-old man was struck by a vehicle after he got out of his vehicle and walked onto the highway.

He was taken to Lankenau Medical Center where he died.
State Police closed a portion of the highway to investigate the crash, and determined there were no suspicious circumstances in the man's death.
