PennDOT Work Affecting Interstate 476 In Springfield, Other Delco Areas

Road work scheduled for several days on Interstate 476 will affect traffic in various Delaware County area, including Radnor Township, PennDOT said.

The work is slated to begin at 9 a.m. Saturday., Jan. 28 and last until 3 p.m. daily until Thursday, Feb. 2.

The interstate will be affected due to spray patching in between the Media Bypass/State Street/U.S. Route 1 and Lancaster Avenue/U.S. Route 30 Interchanges in Springfield, Marple, Radnor, and Haverford townships, PennDOT said.

The work will cause intermittent lane closures on northbound and southbound I-476.

The work schedule is weather dependent.

Motorists traveling in the area should plan for extra travel time or consider alternate routes.
