POW Wall Of Honor Dedication Set For Sept 19 In Newtown Square

NEWTOWN SQUARE, PA — The Delaware County Veterans Memorial Association is inviting the public to a POW/MIA Wall of Honor dedication event this week.
From 10 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. on Thursday, Sept. 19, the association will unveil "One Empty Chair" at the Delaware County Veterans Memorial, as well as dedicated the Wall of Honor.
The "One Empty Chair" symbolizes the sacrifices made for the country by still missing American service men and service women.

As of July 19, about 82,000 Americans are still missing or unaccounted for from conflicts since World War II.
The memorial is located at 4599 W. Chester Pike in Newtown Square.
