Priscilla Bohlen’s Art Enlivens the View at Newtown Sq. Library
Accomplished local artist in two shows at once! NS Library and the 431 Art Gallery.
Sometimes you need a nudge to get your creative chops going this time of year. If so, there’s a marvelous art exhibit that is cheering patrons up at the Newtown Square Library.
An accomplished local artist, Priscilla Bohlen’s paintings are enlivening the library’s walls throughout February. Many of these large pieces work together in pairs – from dynamic abstracts to whimsical florals. All her works study the effects of light, colors, and shapes – and all are for sale.
Her vibrant artworks are both spontaneous, and totally intentional. She related: “I like taking a theme and working through a series of pieces which all relate to one another.

Priscilla gains inspiration from many subjects. “Key West Cat” is a showpiece of whimsical beauty and was inspired on a trip to Florida.
