Strath Haven High School was locked down for a period Thursday after reports of a student with a weapon surfaced.
WLALINGFORD, PA — One person is in custody after a report of a student potentially in possession of a weapon led to a lockdown at a Delaware County high school Thursday.
According to Nether Providence Township Police and the Wallingford Strathmore School District, Strath Haven High School was locked down for about an hour Thursday.
The lockdown was enacted as a precautionary measure after officials got a report from a staffer that a student may have a weapon in a backpack, the district said.

District policy considers replicas or lookalikes weapons, according to a statement.
The district said the lockdown is lifted, and the school returned to its regular schedule.
