Road Work To Affect Delco Traffic Overnight Next Week
Affected municipalities are Marple, Newtown, Haverford, Springfield, Radnor, Upper Darby, Edgmont, Middletown, and Upper Providence.

DELAWARE COUNTY, PA — Traffic on several roads in Delaware County will be affected by crack sealing work overnight next week, according to PennDOT.
Crews will be working from 8 p.m. to 5 p.m. the following morning Monday through Friday next week.
Work is taking place on the following roads:

- Route 320 (Springfield Road) between Sproul Road and Route 3 (West Chester Pike) in Marple Township;
- Route 3 (West Chester Pike) between Bishop Hollow Road and Plumsock Road in Newtown and Edgmont townships;
- U.S. 1 (Media Bypass/State Road/Township Line Road/City Avenue) between Baltimore Pike and the Delaware County line in Middletown, Upper Providence, Marple, Springfield, Upper Darby, and Haverford townships;
- Route 320 (Sproul Road) between Kennedy Road and Radcliffe Road in Springfield and Marple townships;
- Lawrence Road between Route 320 (Sproul Road) and Route 3 (West Chester Pike) in Marple Township; and
- Haverford Road/County Line Road between Winchester Road and U.S. 30 (Lancaster Avenue) in Haverford and Radnor townships.
Drivers are advised to allow extra time when traveling through the work areas because backups and delays may occur.
All operations are weather dependent and subject to change.
