Route 1 In Marple Seeing Nightly Closures Next Week

MARPLE TOWNSHIP, PA – Large sign maintenance will affect U.S. Route 1 in Marple Township and nearby municipalities overnight next week, according to PennDOT.

Route 1 between Middletown and Sproul roads will see nighttime lane closures Monday, Oct. 2 through Saturday, Oct. 7, PennDOT said.

Closures will take effect each night at 8 p.m. and will end at 5 a.m. the following morning, according to PennDOT.

Drivers are advised to allow extra time when traveling through the work area.

The schedule is weather dependent.
