Sign Up For Marple Township's Citizens Police Academy To Keep Your Community Safer

Space is limited and reservations are made on a first-come, first-served basis, so sign up now!

Marple Township Police are accepting applications for its nine-week Citizens Police Academy and space is limited so interested parties should apply as soon as possible.

The academy runs weekly on Tuesday evenings for two hours over nine weeks beginning March 14.

Topics covered of the nine weeks include the legal system, patrol procedures, criminal investigations, communications, and community policing.

The academy is intended for residents 21 years old and up.

As space is limited, priority will be given to residents of and business owners in Marple Township.

A criminal records check will be required for anyone interested in participating.

You can download an application for the academy online here or pick up a hard copy at the Marple Township Police Station, 225 S. Sproul Road, Broomall. The application deadline is Tuesday, Feb. 28.
