Sixth Coronavirus Death Reported In Delaware County
The county said a 56-year-old man from Yeadon Borough died from the new coronavirus, or COVID-19.
YEADON BOROUGH, PA — Delaware County officials reported the county's six coronavirus-related death Tuesday.
According to the county, a 56-year-old man from Yeadon Borough died from the new coronavirus, known as COVID-19.
"Delaware County Council extends its deepest condolences to his loved ones and the community," officials said Tuesday. "As we as a community combat this pandemic together, this loss affects all of us and we are deeply saddened by the news."

Yeadon Borough has seven cases, according to officials.
Deaths in the county as of Tuesday have been:

- A 70-year-old woman from Ridley Township;
- a 63-year-pld man from Middletown Township died from the coronavirus;
- an 85- year- old male from Ridley Park;
- an 86-year-old woman from Marple Township;
- and a 65-year-old man from Springfield Township.
As of Tuesday, Delco has 332 cases. To date, the county has had 2,233 negative test results come in.
