Springfield Road Closing Weekdays Through Late October
Aqua Pennsylvania work in Marple and Springfield townships will affect daytime, weekday traffic on Springfield Road through late October.

MARPLE TOWNSHIP, PA — A portion of Springfield Road in Marple and Springfield townships will be closed weekdays through late October due to utility constrictions.
According to PennDOT, Aqua Pennsylvania is planning to close Springfield Road between Eagle Road and Old Sproul Road in Marple and Springfield townships.
The closure will begin Monday, Sept. 12 and last through Friday, Oct. 28.

PennDOT said the road will be closed Mondays through Fridays from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
During the closure, motorists will be directed to use Eagle Road, Burmont Road, and U.S. 1/Township Line Road/State Road.

Local access will be maintained up to the construction zone.
Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling near the work area because backups and delays will occur.
