Sproul Road Closing Fully Through Late October

MARPLE TOWNSHIP, PA — Sproul Road will be closed fully through late October due to PECO work, according to PennDOT.

PennDOT said Sproul Road will close 24 hours a day, seven days a week through Friday, Oct. 30 due to PECO gas main installation.

The road will close between Marple Road in Marple Township and Darby Road in Haverford Township starting Monday, Aug. 17.

During the closure, drivers will be detoured to West Chester Pike and Bryn Mawr Avenue.

Local access to the area will be maintained during the closure.

Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling near the work area because backups and delays may occur.
