Sproul Road Closing Through September For Utility Work

The road will close during the daytime, Mondays through Saturdays, for PECO work that will last through September.

MARPLE TOWNSHIP, PA — Sproul Road in Marple Township will close Mondays through Saturdays starting this weekend and ending in September.

PennDOT said PECO utility installation will close Sproul Road between Darby and Marple roads starting Saturday.

The closure will be in effect from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Mondays through Saturdays.

PennDOT said the work will last through September.

During the work, drivers will be detoured over Bryn Mawr Avenue and West Chester Pike.

Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling near the work area because backups and delays will occur.

The work schedule is weather dependent.
