Sproul Road Closing Weekdays Through September In Marple

Drivers on Sproul Road will be detoured weekdays in Marple Township through September due to PECO work, PennDOT said.

MARPLE TOWNSHIP, PA — PECO work will affect Sproul Road in Marple township for about tow and a half months, according to PennDOT.

PennDOT said Sproul Road/Route 320 will close weekdays for PECO utility work through September.

Starting Monday, July 13 and lasting through September, Sproul Road will be closed weekdays from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

Sproul Road will be closed between Darby and Marple roads.

During the closure, Sproul Road drivers will be detoured over Bryn Mawr Avenue and West Chester Pike/Route 3.

Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling near the work area because backups and delays will occur.
