The REAL Reason You're FAT? Hmmm....

Who Should You BLAME? 
The Fitness and Weight-loss Industry is notorious for launching ad-campaigns which blames such things as a slow-metabolism, food additives, gluten, carbohydrate-sensitivity - blah-blah-blah - for the reason you are FAT. That’s nonsense. Your real answer lies in honestly assessing your “Lifestyle”. For the sake of this discussion, your lifestyle is something totally different than your income-level, the size of your home, or what kind of car you drive. Your lifestyle - as it pertains to how your body currently looks - is the total sum of ALL your daily-behaviors and daily-habits. They all contribute to the way your naked-body looks in that full length mirror. 

WHAT DO YOU DO ALL DAY?
This would include both your work-place and recreational activity-level. In other words, is your job, labor-intensive, or is it mostly sedentary in nature? The same can be asked regarding your spare-time. Do you workout at the gym or engage in physically demanding activities, or are you more of a couch-potato? Again, the answer is probably obvious as you study your reflection in the mirror. The other big lifestyle factor is your “eating-habits”. You probably don’t need much of an explanation here. The old adage “You are what you eat” , quite simply is true. 
It is important to understand that much more than genetics, how you have treated your body inside and out is what matters most. How much do you eat and how much do you move? - How many daily calories do you consume? What daily food choices are you making? Is your job a sedentary activity or does it involve manual labor? Do you exercise? If yes, how much and how often? If no, why not? Are you a busy-body, or do you look for ways to move less? Do you eat to fuel your body, or do you sometimes eat out of boredom, or as a stress-coping mechanism? Are you getting the picture? They all add up - These daily habits makeup your “lifestyle”...this is who you are...this is “why” you look the way you do...for better, or for worse.

"OMG! - IS THERE A-N-Y GOOD NEWS?"
The Good News is, every one of your daily-habits and daily-behaviors can be altered, managed, or changed. Therefore, your body can change. This is the key to looking your best. By tweaking the way you eat, and when-and-how-often you move, you can dramatically impact the way your body looks. You DO NOT have to go on a “diet”. You DO NOT have to spend hours exercising. BOTTOM-LINE: Take action! Moveover, take ownership of the problem. And then, begin to make the appropriate lifestyle changes that will help change the way your body looks.
