Three Marple Newtown School District students have been named National Merit Scholarship finalists according to the district.
Students Regina Fairbanks, Phillip Missan, and Sara Danenhower all advanced to the National Merit Scholarship finals.
The three students move on after submitting a detailed scholarship application that high lights their academic record, participation in school and community activities, demonstrated leadership abilities, employment, and honors and awards received.
