Traffic On 2 Marple Road Restricted This Week: PennDOT
Two PennDOT projects will affect traffic on two Marple Township roads all week, according to PennDOT.
MARPLE TOWNSHIP, PA – Traffic on two roads in Marple Township will be restricted this week due to PennDOT projects, according to PennDOT.
Motorists will encounter single lane closures in both directions on West Chester Pike/Route 3 between the Interstate 476 Interchange and New Ardmore Avenue Monday, Dec. 3, through Friday, Dec. 7.
The lane closures will be in place from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., for excavation.

Additionally, Aqua Pennsylvania will have a lane closure with flagging on Lawrence Road at the intersection with Sussex Boulevard in Marple.
The lane closures will be in place from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday, Dec. 3, through Friday, Dec. 7 for water main improvement.

Motorists are advised to allow more time for travel in these work areas because backups and slowdowns may occur. The schedule is weather dependent.
