Traffic Impacted By PennDOT Work On West Chester Pike Wext Week

NEWTOWN TOWNSHIP, PA — Flaggers will be directing traffic on a portion of West Chester Pike in Newtown Township for two days next week, PennDOT said.

Crews will be continuing roadway construction work next week on West Chester Pike under a local safety improvement project.

From 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday and Tuesday next week, traffic will be controlled by flagging on West Chester Pike/Route 3 in both directions at the Newtown Square Shopping Center entrance for median traffic signal installation.

Drivers are advised to allow extra time when traveling through the work area because backups and delays will occur.

All scheduled activities are weather dependent.
