US Marshals Capture Man Wanted For Attempted Murder In Delco
Jabril Ali, 25, was at large for more than a year after authorities said he shot a tow truck driver in Delaware County in May 2022.
CHESTER, PA — Federal authorities have taken a Delaware County attempted murder suspect into custody.
According to the U.S. Marshals Service, Jabril Ali, 25, was apprehended Wednesday morning in a home on the 1500 block of South Cleveland Street in Philadelphia.
Ali was wanted in connection with the May 2022 shooting of a tow truck driver in Chester, according to federal authorities.

Chester Police said Ali shot the victim at about 12:44 p.m. May 3, 2022, at Pusey and West 2nd streets in Chester.
Police said they learned through surveillance footage and witnesses that Ali was the shooter.

Ali is charged with attempted murder, robbery, weapons violations, and drug sales, police said.
