West Chester Pike Lanes Closing Weekdays Through Late October

NEWTOWN TOWNSHIP, PA — West Chester Pike will have weekday lane closures in Newtown Township through late October, PennDOT said.

According to PennDOT, curb and sidewalk reconstruction under a local safety improvement project is forcing the lane closures.

The lanes will close weekdays through Wednesday, Oct. 30.

Closures will be in place from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

The affected portion of road is between Boot Road and Bryn Mawr Avenue.

Drivers are advised to allow extra time when traveling near or through the work area because backups and delays will occur.

All scheduled activities are weather dependent.
