Work Affecting Lawrence Road, West Chester Pike In Marple

MARPLE TOWNSHIP, PA – Work on Lawrence Road and West Chester Pike will affect traffic in Marple Township Monday and Tuesday, PennDOT said.

Aqua Pennsylvania is planning a lane closure with flagging on Lawrence Road at the intersection with Warren Boulevard from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Monday, Nov. 19, and Tuesday, Nov. 20 for water main improvement.

Additionally, drivers will encounter single lane closures in both directions on West Chester Pike/Route 3 between the Interstate 476 Interchange and New Ardmore Avenue. The lane closures will be in effect also from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Monday, Nov. 19, and Tuesday, Nov. 20 for excavation work.

Motorists are advised to allow more time for travel in the work areas because backups and slowdowns may occur.
