Work Affecting Newtown Street Road Nightly Through Early March
PECO crews will be working on utility installations weeknights beginning Tuesday, Jan. 2 through early March, according to PennDOT.

NEWTOWN TOWNSHIP, PA – Newtown Street Road in Newtown Township is will see lane restrictions nightly starting Tuesday, Jan. 2 lasting through early March to accommodate utility work, PennDOT said.
PECO will be restricting lanes on Newtown Street Road/state Route 252, from 7 p.m. to 5 a.m. nightly during the week, beginning this Jan. 2 and ending Friday, March 9, according to PennDOT.
The road will be restricted between Mary Jane Lane and Reese Avenue each night into the following morning during the week, PennDOT said.

Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling through the work area.
The schedule is weather dependent.
