The teen was driving a Hyundai Sonata on Route 352 near Pembroke Drive in Middletown at approximately 9:29 p.m. on Oct. 18, according to State Police.
She was traveling southbound when the GPS device in her car instructed her to make a right turn. And when she turned, she crashed into a curb and then a tree, according to State Police.

The driver was not injured but a 16-year-old female passenger sustained minor injuries to her eye due to airbag dust, according to State Police.
Both girls were wearing seatbelts.
