2 Armed Men Invade Middletown Home

Two unknown men, armed with guns, invaded a Middletown home and assaulted the victims while taking their money, according to

The two, armed men entered the Latches Lane home at approximatey 9:20 p.m. on Sept. 19 and found the male resident and told him to give the men his money, State Police said.

The male resident was assaulted, his hands were bound with plasitic ties and he was forced into different rooms where they could get money, State Police said.

The armed men forced the male resident upstairs to the third floor where they found the female resident and she was physically assaulted by the men, State Police said.

The men fled the residence after taking money from the victims.

One of the assailants was described as a white man between 5 foot 11 inches and 6 foot tall and the other man was described as a black man between 5 foot 11 inches and 6 foot tall, State Police said.

Both men were wearing all black clothing and had their faces covered. Both were armed and both were described as being younger adults, State Police said.
