2 Girls Critical After Being Struck By Vehicle In Delco
The girls — identified as Isabella Jones, 11, and Abigail Gillon, 12 — suffered life-threatening injuries in the crash Saturday afternoon.
ASTON, PA — Two young girls are in critical condition after being struck by a vehicle while they were scootering in Delaware County this weekend, according to authorities.
Aton Township Police said the girls were struck at about 2:18 p.m. Saturday at Lehr Boulevard and Concord Road in the township.

The girls, identified by Fox 29 as 11-year-old Isabella Jones and 12-year-old Abigail Gillon, were riding an electric scooter when they were struck by a vehicle.
Police said the girls were taken to Neumors Children’s Hospital Delaware after suffering serious, life-threatening injuries.

As of Sunday afternoon, the girls are in critical condition.
The striking driver remained at the scene and is cooperating with police, authorities said.
No charges have been filed.
Three fundraisers have been established to help the girls and their families.
GoFundMe campaigns are raising money for Jones and Gillon. A third fundraiser will split money it generates between the two girls' families.
