2 Men Charged Following Robbery Outside Granite Run Mall

A man attempted to grab a woman's purse outside of the on Saturday, according to the .
A woman was walking from toward at about 1:30 p.m. on Jan. 14 when a vehicle, with four men inside, pulled along side of her and the front seat passengar asked for directions, according to State Police.
The front seat passengar, later identified as Matthew Dennis III, 25, then got out of the car and attempted to grab the woman's purse, according to State Police.

A struggle ensued between Dennis and the woman and the woman attempted to throw her cell phone at Dennis but missed and the phone landed inside the car, according to State Police.
Dennis then got back in the car and the vehicle fled toward Route 352, according to State Police.

A witness to the robbery called police and described the car as a silver four door sedan with four or five black men inside, according to State Police.
Troopers observed a silver Chevrolet Impala, with four black men inside, stopped at a traffic light on Rt. 352 near Dutton Mill Road and pulled them over, according to State Police.
The victim positively identified Dennis and the driver, later to be identified as, John Robert Nelson, 23, and all four of the men in the car were placed into custody, according to State Police.
The victim's cell phone was also found inside the Impala following a police search.
Dennis and Nelson, both of Philadelphia, were charged with robbery, theft, receiving stolen property, simple assault and other related offenses, according to State Police.
Both men were arraigned and remanded to Delaware County Prison after failing to post bail set at 10 percent of $100,000.
