5 Travel Tips for a Stress-Free Vacation

"I came to Maris Grove with the idea of catching up on my reading," said Holveck with a laugh. "That has not happened."

Holveck's travel tips:

• Always pack a poncho. Use it to line your luggage. Sometimes when luggage is taken off the plane, it may be exposed to a downpour.

• Book a non-stop flight if possible to avoid connection problems and reduce total travel time.

• Wear comfortable shoes.

• Invest in travel insurance in case you have to cancel your plans last minute.

• Remember to ask for senior discounts!
