5k Run/Walk To Support Delco Victim Assistance Center Sunday In Media

MEDIA, PA — Sunday will mark the 10th annual Race for Victims' Rights 5K Run/Walk to support the Delaware County Victim Assistance Center.

The event will begin at 8:30 a.m. Sunday with packet pick up in Media's Rose Tree Park.

A kids' run will step off at 9:30a.m. and then the 5K run/walk will begin at 10 a.m. sharp.

Awards will be given to overall male and female participants, the top male and female in each group, and to the overall team.

Registration costs $30 and is available online here.

Day of registration is $35.

Pre-Registration as a team is $25 per participant; that price increased to $30 on the day of the event.

Children age 12 and under are free.

Race T-shirts are guaranteed to all pre-registered participants.

All proceeds support the victim services programs of the Delaware County Victim Assistance Center.

Delaware County District Attorney Jack Stollsteimer and Media Borough Mayor Robert McMahon will give opening remarks.

The race will be held rain or shine.
