77-Year-Old Man Found Seriously Hurt On Side Of Delco Road: Police
A Philadelphia man was hospitalized after being found on the shoulder of an Interstate 95 on ramp early Tuesday morning in Delaware County.
UPPER CHICHESTER TOWNSHIP, PA — A 77-year-old man was found seriously injured along a ramp to Interstate 95 north in Delaware County early Tuesday morning, Pennsylvania State Police said.
According to state police, the man, identified as 77-year-old Dennis Richardson of Philadelphia, was found at about 3:04 p.m. on the ramp to Interstate 95 north from Pennel Road/Route 452 in Upper Chichester Township.
Emergency medical services were taking a patient from an unrelated incident to a hospital when they saw Richardson on the right shoulder of the ramp.

Richardson was taken to Crozer Medical Center with suspected major injuries by Boothwyn Fire Company EMS, state police said.
According to police, parts of a vehicle were found where Richardson was found, but the vehicle was nowhere to be found.
