8 Teens Shot Outside Philadelphia Union Stadium In Delco: Police
Chester Police said eight teenagers were shot near the Philadelphia Union's stadium Sunday night while they celebrated the holiday weekend.
CHESTER, PA — Eight teenagers, one of whom is critical, are recovering after being shot outside the Philadelphia Union's stadium in Chester over the weekend.
According to Chester Police, the shooting occurred at about 11:21 p.m. Sunday outside Subaru Park at Front and Norris streets in Chester.
Police found a woman who was shot in her right hand and took her to a hospital.

Police later learned of seven other victims who were taken to hospitals in connection with the shooting.
NBC10 reports one of the eight victims, a 17-year-old boy, is in critical condition.

All the victims were between 17 and 18 years old, according to Action news.
The victims were among a group of teenagers who were celebrating the holiday weekend and had not attended a Union game that ended earlier in the day, the Philadelphia Inquirer reports.
"We are saddened by the gun violence that took place in Chester at the intersection of Norris and Delaware Street late last night," the Philadelphia Union said in a statement. "The events happened several hours after a second team match had ended and occurred in an outer parking lot area on the opposite side of the bridge that had not been open for the game."
