Amazon Driver Robbed On Christmas Eve In Delco: Police
A Chester man is charged with robbery and related crimes after police said he robbed an Amazon driver on Christmas Eve.

NETHER PROVIDENCE, PA — An Amazon delivery driver was robbed on Christmas Eve in broad daylight in Delaware County, and a Chester man has been charged in connection with the incident.
According to Nether Providence Police, the incident occurred at about 2:15 p.m. Sunday on the 500 block of Manchester Avenue.
Officers were called to the area for a report of a robbery and when there spoke to the victim, an Amazon driver, who said he was delivering packages when a man approached him.

The man implied he had a gun, then stole the Amazon vehicle, police said.
Dispatchers issued a countywide alert and at 2:32 p.m. the vehicle was spotted in Chester with two people throwing packages from the vehicle into a black Chevrolet Impala, police said.

Police said the Impala drove off, but was later found nearby with multiple Amazon packages in the back seat.
As police searched the area, they took Eric Rohshod Comegys, 30, of Chester, into custody in connection with the incident.
Police determined the Impala belonged to Comegys and said security footage showed him abandoning the vehicle before the was taken into custody.
He is charged with robbery, theft, and fleeing.
Comegys is being held on 10 percent of $500,000 bail.
His preliminary hearing is scheduled for Jan. 5, 2024.
Nether Providence Police are still investigating the incident.
