Leo Ouyang honored by Daughters of the American Revolution

Leo Ouyang, a fifth grader at Media Elementary School, will be honored by the Daughters of the American Revolution (DAR) for his winning essay in the American History Essay Contest. The DAR chapter received thirty essays from students in grades 5 – 8, and Leo’s was selected as the winning fifth grade essay. Leo will read his essay aloud and receive a certificate and a medal at the February 20th DAR meeting at the Aston Township Municipal Building.
