AMLL's Blasts 5 Home-Runs in 10-0 Win Over Taney

The ball was flying out of the ballpark Tuesday night as Aston-Middletown Little League defeated Taney Little League by a final score of 10-0.

Roman Tozzi and Sam Benvignati went back-to-back TWICE in the 10-0 win. They both had a solo home-run in the third inning. In the top of the sixth, Roman had a two-run home-run to deep right center field before Sam crushed run one to deep left field over the tree line. Brett Bonebrake also had a two-run home run in the sixth followed by an RBI single from Shane Holefelder.

Roman Tozzi pitched a stellar complete game shutout. Despite having a man on third with nobody out in the 6th inning, he was able to shutdown the final 3 batters and complete the game.

AMLL won it's first game against Ridley by a final score of 14-2. They have now scored an outstanding 24 runs in only the first two games.

They will play the winner of the Ridley/Newtown Edgmont game, that is currently in progress, tomorrow, July 6th @ 8pm at Newton Edgmont Little League.
