CONCORD TOWNSHIP, PA — After investigating a possible child-luring attempt at a school bus stop in Delaware County, State Police found there was no threat to the community.
The reported incident happened around 3:30 p.m. April 14 in Concord Township as a Garnet Valley student waited for the bus to drop off her brother after school.
A man allegedly drove past the teenage girl and then returned, asking if she was waiting for someone and if she wanted to wait inside his vehicle, police said.
On Tuesday, State Police said they identified the driver and determined there wasn't a threat to the public. No charges were filed.
"There was no attempted child luring," said Tpr. Paul Holdefer, a State Police regional spokesperson.
Garnet Valley School District officials were notified, police said.
State Police conduct local law enforcement for Concord Township, which doesn't have its own police department.
