• Delaware County approves regional juvenile justice center (audacy.com) — Delaware County Council, meeting in Media, has approved opening a new regional juvenile detention center that’s expected to begin operating in 2027. Officials say the Media-based facility will restore local control over youth rehabilitation, cut millions in annual out-of-county costs, and make it easier for families to stay connected.    

• This Delaware County Woman Helped Artemis II Get to the Moon and Back (delco.today) — A former Delaware County resident with ties to Media helped lead engine work for NASA’s Artemis II mission, overseeing more than 100 propulsion components from launch to splashdown. She and her husband once lived in Media, and parishioners at Nativity BVM know her as a frequent cantor who still returns to the area.
