UPPER DARBY, PA — A man fatally stabbed a woman during a domestic incident Monday in Upper Darby, police said.
The man stabbed the victim during an argument on the 4600 block of State Street. He has been charged accordingly after the "tragic and senseless act of domestic violence," Upper Darby Police said Tuesday morning.
The suspect's name and charges weren't immediately released. Patch contacted law enforcement with questions and will update as more information becomes available.
Police tape blocked off part of State Street on Monday, when authorities said they were investigating a domestic incident.
There is no ongoing threat to the community, police said.
