Media Primary Election Voter Guides: Who's Running, Where To Vote

Primaries will include races for governor, Congress, state representative and more. Here's what to know before Election Day.

MEDIA, PA — Pennsylvanians will cast their votes for governor, Congress and state representatives during the May 19 primary election.

Here's what Media residents should know ahead of Election Day.

When To Vote

Polls will be open for in-person voting from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Tuesday, May 19.

Delaware County also has several secure drop boxes where you can submit your mail-in or absentee ballot. Some are open 24/7 while others have select hours. But all drop boxes will close at 8 p.m. on Election Day.

Who's On The Ballot

Most of the primaries are uncontested. The Republican race for lieutenant governor is contested.

Here are the candidates:

Lt. Governor (Dem., vote for one)

Lt. Governor (Rep., vote for one)

U.S. House of Representatives, Pennsylvania's 5th Congressional District (Dem., vote for one)

Pennsylvania State Senator, 26th District (Dem., vote for one)

Pennsylvania State Senator, 26th District (Rep., vote for one)

Pennsylvania House of Representatives, 165th District (Dem., vote for one)

Pennsylvania House of Representatives, 165th District (Rep., vote for one)

Many voters will also elect members to their party's respective committees.
