Shooting Outside College Campus Pizzeria In Delco Under Investigation: Reports

CHESTER, PA — Multiple people were shot Wednesday night outside a pizzeria at Widener University's campus in Chester, according to reports.

The shooting happened just before 11 p.m. outside Uno Pizzeria on Providence Avenue, according to Fox 29, CBS News and NBC10.

It's unclear what led to the shooting and how many people were shot. But no deaths have been reported as of this writing.

A Widener University spokesperson told news outlets the following:

"Widener University is aware of the incident Wednesday night outside the Pizzeria Uno on Providence Avenue in Chester. City police are investigating and the university is fully cooperating with the department. All questions should be directed to law enforcement."
